Delaware Urban and Community Forestry Program

Delaware Forest Service - Urban & Community Forestry Logo - updated 10-13-2023Delaware’s Urban and Community Forestry Program is dedicated to preserving and enhancing Delaware’s community forests, which play a critical role in our quality of life. The trees in Delaware’s communities can improve air and water quality, beautify the landscape and increase property values, mitigate stormwater run-off and soil erosion, save on heating and cooling costs, and foster a general sense of well-being. The Delaware Urban and Community Forestry Council along with serving as an advisory board assists the urban foresters to expand the reach of the program through strategic partnerships.
